I negotiated with Roger Brown of Park Hill Homes for the subject to Planning Consent Purchase of a redundant builder’s yard I owned. Planning consent was eventually secured after a successful appeal to The Department of Environment. The sale to Park Hill was completed following very protracted legal proceedings with an existing tenant resulting in a successful court action with costs awarded. This was only possible due to the perseverance, patience and understanding of the situation by Park Hill who not only worked very closely with me but the entire legal team. Roger and I developed a close and rewarding business relationship through the long evolution of this deal. We employed Park Hill Homes as Design & Build Contractor on the construction of our new build home, a modern exposed Oak frame house married to a single story conversion of an existing timber frame outbuilding. Park Hill worked closely with us and the design teams to deliver and enhance our vision of a highly functional family home. We subsequently employed Park Hill Homes again in 2012 to construct a complicated two storey, oak frame extension which has produced a highly attractive outlook. Kelgrove Wells Ltd. Contracted with Park Hill Homes Ltd to design and build two detached commercial units at The Oakley’s comprising a total of six office units on a very restrictive site. The development although fraught with below ground issues was completed on time and within budget. At every step of the way I found Park Hill, in particular it’s Principal Roger Brown, to be professional, conscientious and communicative. In addition Park Hill were instrumental in the very successful marketing of the office units and the finished project was handed over, all as agreed with the unexpected benefit of the whole scheme being fully let with new tenants. The whole project has proved to be highly satisfactory.
